123/3–4 Eliseus ... a deed body. Cf. 2 Kings 13.21; CWM 6/1.225/8–9, 17–18. In adding a noun to the article and adjective, 1573 agrees with CWM 6/1.225/9. After the text and variants were set in type, with 1573's "a dead body" substituted for 1531's "a deed" (and the emendation noted), O'Donnell discovered analogous forms without a noun: "a righteous" and "a wicked" occur in Ezek. 18.24, 26, 27, Tyndale's translation of an OT reading used in the Sarum Rite (TNT 397).
