Detailed History

There was a reference in an advertisement for a homecoming game in a 1931 newspaper. It was owned by Richard H. Slacter in 1955. The fixtures were sold in 1957. The building was demolished by 1961 and replaced by the Twin Cities Opportunities Industrial Center. The establishment moved to 546 N. 6th Ave (or Olson Memorial Highway) when it was owned by Rodger Benton. Then James T. Fuller became a co-owner by 1959. It reopened in 1960 by Fuller as the Regal Tavern. That building was demolished after 1972.
