Dinah Luxford
Dinah Luxford was born on January 18, 1840, in Kent County, England, to Henry Luxford and Tabitha Turner. Her father was a farmer. The family lived in Biddenden, England, and she was baptized there on February 9, 1840. They immigrated to America in the mid-1840s and settled in Sheldon, Vermont. They moved to Troy, Vermont, in the 1850s. She married Lorenzo Rice on March 17, 1878, and she died of kidney disease in Sheldon on March 26, 1880.
