Dear Sister
I have taken my pen in hand to writ afew lines to you for the first time yet I hope it will not be last I am well at present and hope that you are enjoying the same blessing it has ben about 6 weeks since I have mooved out here I like this part of the country very much I have not ben homesick yet I like our neighbors very well I have ben visiting around severel of them I expect to go to house keeping this week I have ben to Granville and Newark twise they are very plesent too /
N.B. I send you a peace like my dress
I have ben to church to Alexandria several times we were home all to day it was to stormy to go to church Mother was to Columbus to pay avisit to Sam & Mary and to see their boy his name is Jutson Elisha Jane and I ar getting along very well we have be working in the shugar camps to gether we made about 6 gallons of molases
I have not much news to give you this time I will write more to you the next time I have ben looking for you to writ to me for some time excuse my poor spelling & writing
