I now sit down with grate plesure to in form you that I am well and hope these few lines will find you enjoying good health as it leaves me at present I have had a very sick spell as usel and thought I never could see my Newark friends if such there be! I have recovered to my useal health at present I heard two that you had ben very sick at home. Oh there is no place like home when sick! I am still at Mrs F Buttles and Ann Jones is the cook and has ben since she left Newark she sends her love to you
I receid one letter from John last night and was still in school and is going for 5 years from now for 5 years past. oh yes I for got Hannah thomas is sister Mary has had a boy and has gon to the land of rest she is geting better fast.
