Dear cosen it is now with the grates of plesur that i seat my self to drop you afew lines by witch you will learn that are all well at this time truly hoping thes few lines may find you all well i recived your letter and was glad to hear from you all but i was sory to hear that the bachler was sick but i hope he will git well i recived a letter from cosen henry the other day and hee was well Brother is well So N.C. Roper rote well A S you rote that you wanted to know about uncle Z D he is dad i sopose / so all we have to do is perpar to meet him in a better world than this it is raning now i was again to greenville in the morning but it i am afraid it will be a wet day i will tell you what my sweet harts name is it is Joseph Calven Emerson loue ann you doant no how sweet he is he is sweet as candy for i tased of him he is a giten better i was with him yesterday and to day and you must excuse my bad riten and bad spelling for this time so i remain your true cosen rite soon from N.
