            Dear friends
I take this opper tunity to wright a few lines wee are all well as usal I soon got well of that lame ness that ihad when i was there I got home well and found all well
I saw mr Busell showed him that letter he said that the time had ben when it mite hav ben gotten sum to years a go such claims were objected to and it made a good bit of stur over the cuntry he thought that next seshion here wood hea sumething a bout such claims I engaged him if he see a chance to gitit to letme know it
 
I found Pages famely well as usal Charls thought that helpt him the next day I went to Allens found them well got there the sun an hour high staid two knights and had good visits and felt sawry that I had not seen parker the frost not so hard here as there i think our corn was not fit at all other crops look well sum are / begining haying the cold wether cild all the apples as far as I know
 
as to religion it is a low tim mutch be lameted

            pleas ask Page Carr if he or sum one wishes to buy a yoak oxen that is prime for work to timber with this winter they are ten years oule and as spry as any five year olds as you can find I dont want to sell till winter
