now as for you coming to see us next summer I would like to have Lee and Oll and Deb come with you to be here the 24 of may if they could it will be 30 years since we were married if we should live till then all come if you can. it is beautifull weather now have had two snow storms October was rough and cold for this country. have got about 100 acres of corn to get out yet a part is pretty good and a part is poor we had 100 bushels of potatoes and cabage enough to make a half barrel of crout did not have any fruit this year corn is worth 18 to 20 cts a bushel. potatoes 20 eggs 15 cts a doz. the wheat was verry poor the grasshopers destroyed lots / of the fall wheat as fast as it would come up Wm sowed several acres the second time to get a stand there were some that sowed the third time. it is getting to be hard work for me to right or to sit myself at it wish you was close enough so I could go and see you it would not be as mutch work to talk as it is to right.
