Dear Sister. I recieved your letter of Feb the 22 in due season and I have waited to get som news before I wrote. I have not got much to write now. I am well now and all the rest of the Tamworth boys, and I hope we will always remain so. I was on guard yesterday and it snowed a little but it was warm to day it has rained a little all day. you said Oliver P. Wiggin was there to Boston. I should liked to of seen him very much. you did not want me to enlist again. I don think I will have the chance. we cirtinly will have to stay till the war is at an end. we have got Marching orders to day. we will have to go to Falls Church the first fair day. we will proberbly leave this week we have been humbuged so much that / I dont care when or where we go if we can have a little brush now and then to keep our hand in.

we are goin over to do Pickquit Duty. I believe Isiah Wiggin is 4th Coporal I had rather be a private a good deal. Blake and I dont have any canes kanes here there is nothing to make them of. Bill Sanborn is in the hospital attending to the sick. Joseph Sanborn is first Coporal. I weigh 160 lbs so you see I am doing well. if we do leave this place you can write just the same, for it will find the Sharp Shooters let them go where they will. so you need not fear to write, but write soon But it is geting late and I must close with my best respects to all.
