Dear Sister
When I wrote you last I was in Camp Williams about 10 days ago we left that camp and came through Fair Fax Centreville & Manassas to Bristor Station last night about 5 oclock we again had marching orders and came to this place got here about 10 oclock P.M. to day is very pleasant we are laying down on the ground resting ourselves. goin to march again in an hour or two. dont know where. Some expect to go to the Susquana Raprehanock River distance about 25 mils. But we may go to Yorktown, cant tell. Dont care where. / Be in a battle in a few days. Perhaps in 3 days. Gen. Blinker had a fight on the Raprehanock River yesterday. thought I would write let you know here I am and that we are on the moove write as soon as you get this Be sure my love to all
