My Convalescent Camp Virgi.
My dear Sarah
on yesterday I received your kind letter it was dated on the 20th I was very glad indead to receive this letter from you as I had got very uneasy to hear from you and to hear how you was getting along since I left home My dear Mussy I wish to inform you that on yestardy I made an application at headquarters in this Camp Asking for a discharge from the Army. and I have a great deal of hopes that I will obtain it. and if I do succede in getting it I think that I will be at home in/the course of 10 or 15 days from now to engoy your socity and the Comforts of a home My dear Mussy once more the wether here has been moderate and warm ever since I returned from home it is raining a little here to day but it is a warm rain we have not had any snow here yet.
dear Mussy I have nothing more in perticular to write to you at this time except to state to you that I am well at present and I do hope that this letter will find you also engoying the same blessing please give my love to all my friends
dear Mussy, you nead not/write to me untill I write to you again in case I do receive my discharge I will perhaps be at home before I could receive a letter from you
My dear Mussy I close by sending my affectinate love to you also my dear Mussy I send you 25 sweet kisses from your
