I shall send $40 home do what you are a mind to with it use if you need it.
I had a letter from Nat yesterday answered it to day / He dont know but he will have to come yet. wanted to know what kind of a chance there was for getting the Adj. of this Reg says he thinks he would like this regiment pretty well. I wrote there was no chance for him here He says is Henry saving his $300 for the draft but he thinks he (Nat) will have to go if he is called on I asked Dunc. Paul about that lawyer Field. he says he is a first rate hand for that kind of business
It is clear but cold to day I have got a pretty hard cold throat some sore. Paul gave me something to wash it with He is a first rate fellow can get medicine of him any time with going to the doctor
