Dear Sister
I have just time to write a few lines before the mail goes. We are still near Appomattox Station. All the troops have left but our Corps. I expect we leave tomorrow. dont know where. Had mail today the first in two weeks No letter from home had papers League & Post.
Pleasant. Dont feel first rate guess after we get marching will feel better.
