Dear Sister
I received your letter yesterday. should have written then but did not feel very well. Took a dose of pills yesterday morning and they always make me sick. Have had a bad cold. This morning I feel about right
It is cold again. Last friday and Saturday it rained Nothing going on here, very quiet. I hope I shall Charley Risden when he returns. We are only about ¾ of a mile from the San. Com. station at Deep Bottom. My box has not come yet I shall not look for it till it comes. / Jim Allen sent in a furlough last Friday. I guess it will be approved. I was mustered as orderly. Have not much to do now. Almeron & Sisson were over here last week. Almeron told me he expected a box. I cant think of any thing to write. I got my Post yesterday. Get a daily occasionally. This is short letter but I cant think if any thing
Love to all,
Yours Affectionately
Charles
