Mary Callahan
Mary Callahan (maiden name: Spofford) was born around 1808 in New Hampshire. She married Daniel Baxter, and they had at least four children: Silas, born on September 17, 1833; Samuel, born around 1837; Mary, born around 1841; and Daniel, born around 1846. They lived in Middletown, Pennsylvania, and her husband died in the 1840s. By 1850, she owned $1,000 of real estate. She married Michael Callahan in the 1850s. Her husband worked as a farmer, and by 1860, the family owned $1,500 of real estate and $707 of personal property. She died sometime after August 1862.
