The following abbreviations are announced as official and will be used whenever practicable.
In making them it is to be borne in mind that no 5s are to be made between the letters of the abbreviations. The 5 when made signifies that the abbreviation is complete. The letters of the abbreviation will be distinctly made with a pause between them.
