                        The unusual quiet wh. marks the enemys lines tonight indicates that he is probably engaged on some movement, perhaps another withdrawal from our front. It is of the highest importance that any such effort should be discerned at the earliest moment. The Lt. Gen^l Com^dg desires therefore that you will caution your men to be on the alert and endeavor to ascertain by scouts and other means what the enemy is doing.
