                        I am happy to respond to the Wife of my bosom in answer to the letter of the 7th of Nov that came to hand on the 15 of this mounth it found me well I also was the happy recipient of another letter dated the 16th of October but for all that I was glad to read it if it was stale you spoke about writing of a new dress that you was making well as for that I never received any such letter I also received a specimen of your dress and a specimen of your sewing also I suppose you want my opinion on it well I am not prepared to / say I will leave you to judge of that if it suits you it will me you also spoke about buying the machine without consulting me well all I hav to say about that is very little I am willing you should have it but not to make a buisness of working out for a living not unless you havto to pass away time I will tell you the rest when I come home but I will let you know before I do well Let as for nuse I have none but hope to hear of some soon well Let I donot know what to write but will write more some other time Let you must not think I have forgotten you for that is not the case my effections for you are the same as ever well let I must close with my best wishes to all
