Dear Love
I once more have the privalidge of [stain] good [stain] your is [stain] enjoying your self well [stain] you should but I cannot tell how that is we are still in the same camp that we were when I last wrote to you but expect to moove soon to eastern Tenn [stain] was turned over to day and taken to Manchester but I do not care how soon it comes the sooner the better for we have to go over the ground some time and the sooner it is over the better for us I supose you have all the ripe / fruit that you want by this time but you do not have all for we have some here but not as good as you have up there John Morgan thought so to and went up to see about it but did not acomplish the endeavor that intendid for the good [stain] much for him and [stain] love to [stain] to the stars and stripes [stain] love the south trying [stain] and then will be a day of reckoning to all true union people and I hope you will be one of them which I dont doubt but some times you write rather strang things I have no feelings for a sothern simpathiser in the in the least the sooner those such men are put out of existence the better they are the ones that have been the means of prolonging this war and of the sheding of blood more than would have been had they been true to the union as they / should have been but enough of this least I weary your patients the weather is very nice all though it is rather warm but we are the boys that can stand it if anybody can I under stood that the auburn boys have organized the company of home gueards and [stain] David Sheckler [stain] that that is the last that I have heard of them since Love I should like to know how thing prosper with fair sex I have not heard of any of them being married for some time back I have began to think that they are waiting for the soldiers to come home but that will do no no good for I have a girl that I trust is a waiting for me to return to hur the beloved of my heart but if she is not I am and shall stroove true to my vowes that I had made before I left hur / at hur fathers house when I break that vow then you may know that I am insain but love if you find that you are not satisfied with me at any time you are left to act at your own pleasure I donot wish you to [stain] but you are blind to the [stain] have mad me unless you [stain] if you donot at any time [stain] have to that is to say so for you know the consequences of an unhappy marriage [stain] the reason that I wrote you this was be cause of some letters that you wrote it seamed that you were not satisfied with the engagement but it may be that I was mistaken about if I am I hope it will not hurt your feelings Love I must close write soon and often as you can for often I cannot write when I should yours truly Love to all I remain your Lover and well wisher
