thinking that you would like to hear from me by this time I thought I would write we came here last night cannot tell how long we will stay here we have had a rough time comming through here but the weather is more mild here but not as warm as it was when we left here for home I was surprised to find things so the talk is here that we will have to walk through to Chattanooga my health is good but was rather low spirited for a fiew days but feel better now it was rather hard to leave friends that are dear to me as life but I / feel better but I think the next time I come home I shall stay there with you and rest of the folks but I will drop that part of the subject I hadly know what to write to you but I have been thinking of you and the rest and of the good times your folks will have a mooving to your new home I supose that you was a looking for me to come home from columbus but things were so mixed up there that I could not tell how long we would stay there but that time is past but I think I will not have much longer to stay than my first time but I can tell more about it in a year from this time I cannot think of any thing to write that would be interesting to you so I will close but remembering you as a near and Dear friend I remain yours love to all from your affectionate husband
