Blairsvill June 20th 1835
Dear Brother
We are all well at present hoping these few lines may find you all ingoying the Same State of health—I on last knight Recd fortey dollars frome Esq Scott on that Barr Judgment—which if you can possabelly Spare that money for a while it will be a grate obligement to me as I have been in considarabl of a pinch for a little money—not making any thing that I could Spare for 2 years past & having every thing to buy that I have considral dificualty to git along—I trayed to borrow 35 $ of Mr Miller a Short time agoe he had no money on hand at that time—I will have to make use of this money & I will indavour to pay you in the corse of this Summer------
The Legeslator past a bill last winter atheraising the Aprasors of damage to Settle our Clame when they may be on I do not know I have wrote to one of them but have Recd no answer yet I Supose it would be better to have nothing more/don in that Judgment of Barrs unto fall, as them 40 $ & the Recept you Sent me goes purty well up to Settling it Scott dos not attend to his office he is Boating—Our crops looks midling well the corn crop that is on low ground dos not look very well the wether is too wett we have had a very grate deel on Rain all this Summer—I wish you would write to me & let me know how father & mother have thair health--& how your Saw Mill is doing & how you don with your Lumber this last Spring Remember us all to father & mother
