Camp Beaver Oct 19th 1862
Dear Sarah I again set down to rite a line to you to inform you that I am well and I do hope that you Oliver Mary & Childrin are also well and doing well—Dear Mussy on last Sunday I sent you a letter I do not know whether you have received it or not The last letter I received from you was dated the 5 Oct I have been looking for a letter from you before this time but I expect that you are so buisy that you can scarsly find time to write. on yesterday we ware all paid our bounty mony twenty seven dollars I enclose you ten dollars in this letter and in three days from now I will enclose you ten dollars more I do not like to send it all in one letter for fear of a miscarage when you receive this write to me Imeditly and let me know that you have received it The seven dollars I will keep to pay/for washing and other nesaries which I may nead we do not expect to draw any more mony untill we be in the sevise 3 or four months by the 15th day of Nov I will have 3 months pay due me which which I may get shortly after that time This mony perhaps will do you untill I draw again I had entended to write to Mary Thompson before now but I have not had time yet to write to hir as I have hardly time to write to you but I will the first spare time I get tell Oliver to write to me and send me a Brookville newspaper that has the returns of the election in our hospitle is now full of sick which takes up our time nite and day to attend to them I close with sending my love to you, Mary & Oliver and Their Childrin tell Ely I would like to sea hir & Hary I remain your affectinate husband

contented but do in this as you like best yourself dear Mussy in your letter to day I received three postage stamps in it I was very glad to get them as I only had one stamp a head of me before I received your letter I believe I have wrote every thing that I can now think of at this time please write to me at least onece every week and I will do the same to you. if you have not received a letter from me every week it is not my falt it is the falt of the post officies. Dear Mussy I am in very good health at present I have got now well of the rheumatism and I am getting along very well and I do hope my dear Mussy that these lines will find you also engoying good health and happines please give my love to Mary & Oliver Thompson and Childrin also please give my love and respect to all equiring friends I conclude my dear Mussy by sending my love to you also except 25 sweet kises from me good by dear Musse for the present this from your Affectinate husband
