Camp McLean Mo Sept 15 1862
Dear Wife I am writing you again rather sooner than I expected but we have orders to march at 6 oc in the morning so I must not omit the oppertunity to write you I am in good health only a slight diarreah or loosness but no damage done
We are all alive & stiring cooking one days rations for the march to where I do not know but suppose to Springfield all is quiet so far as we know 4 Regiments go together I have been up all knight & do not feel much like writing but will send a few lines Sheldon our drill master we are not very proficient in arms but will no doubt shoot as hard as any one / The boys all seem verry lively & glad to move Each man recd to night 4 round of catridge so if it is as hot as some days many will give out from their load You need not send the pantograph any more as I do not get it often to read but send your letters as often as you can I will write when we stop again you direct your letters to Rolla Mo to 94 Regiment Regiment Ill Volunteers
