My Dear Parrents.
yesterday I wrote you a letter and to day I received one from you I got a verry quick answer dont you think so I soppose you would think that I had forgotten you but it is not so for I am thinking of you evry day I got a letter from Katie to day she is out to orange making short visit I think she will come out there / before long and make you twice glad I should like to be there to come with hur how I should enjoy my self out there this summer I hope the time will soon come so that I can come out to milford and have a nother good time do you keep up them parties now as you did when I was there how manny has got to go from milford on this call you say that uncle lyman is fixt up quite smart now he must be in town a bout now days I am glad if he has got some / one to help him he ought to be thankfull for it must take all that he can earn to get a living now days for evry thing is so high you say that Henry Herman and Eddie are helping Father he is pretty well off for help how I should like to be there to help him I have not forgot how to work yet if I have bin a soldier I soppose most people think that a soldier is lazy and wont work I soppose there is some but not so with me I aint a fraid / to work with anny of them yet I think that I could build a house now if I should try and is good as anny of them tell Father to save me a building lot there is money in the ground down hear I got some of it to it aint best for them all to know evry thing I sent Katie $1.05 cents in silver mother have you got that grapevine fixt up I was sorry I did not have time when I was there now mother dont work to hard and get sick if you do Eddy will bring in all of the eggs tell father to take it easy there is a better time a coming that is all this time write soon and all of the news love to all and take a good part your selfs
