My dear Jones
I am very much better—no chills for some days and my head much steadier, & does not whiz so much, and the sawmill is moving off to a distance. But my weakness was greater than I supposed. Yours of 15 just recd. I am thankful that there is gleam of hope about the T.B.R.R. am curious to know whence it comes.
The Recordbook thereof is in the bureau in my hotel chamber, in the 2nd drawer from top = 3rd drawer from bottom. Your own bureau key will fit it, or any others, (but it will not do to say so). On opening it you will find several big account books. The topmost one of all is the one you want. Please take care not to lose the papers just inside the covers. Except those, there are no documents concerning the R.R. which are not recorded.
I shall be around now before many days I trust.
I am much obliged to you for writing.
I am thankful to know that you are all well there. I judge from your letters, that there are no invalids at all now about the Hotel. Has there been any fever about Roorbacks place?—Recd your previous letter, and also the enclosures and thank you for all. My wife has come here from Rumney and sends her love, & so do I.
Please excuse haste
Yours truly Edwd. A. Wild

If George A. Wood and wife (my sister) from Philadelphia come to Hotel, please show them everything & more too (Lawton may aid in the "more too")
Thankful to hear good news from Mine—
If they compromise without me, ask Blackwell to send some private messenger for me to demand the bankruptcy, & so check their offr EAW.
