Charles Leaman to Mary E. Leaman, 13 February 1863
M. Barracks Washington Feb. 13/63
Sis
To day as I have nothing to do I will write to you, all thoug, I have nothing to write about. Last tuesday Will was here and I hapened to be on guard, if he would of come the day before or the day after I would have been on liberty. I was sorry to hear him say that Jack did not look very well, but I hope that he will not get any worse, as he has only about three months yet.I hope he will be able to get throug safely. As I have nothing to tell you only that I am well, for I told Will, and showed him every thing, and he can tell you how I am fixed better than I can write. I will now close with much love to all.
Charlie, /
Send me some postage stamps.
Charlie.
