Last Saturday I was in town, and I met Mr Warfell in the St. he said he had been home since he saw me last and had moved his famly to this place. he also told me of the death of Capt Neff, and that he had been sent home a day or two before, which I was very much surprised and no less sorry to hear. I was glad to hear that papa saw Ser. Murphy for he can satisfy him. I was glad to hear that the Ser. got where he is. I suppose you know that he is recruiting in Phila with / a Capt. which is a very easy place. Every thing is going on the same as usually here. The weather is geting more seteled and is beginning to get very warm in the middle of the day. As I have nothing more to say only that I am as well as ever, I will close wishing to be remembered to all inquireing friends and much love to all.
