            Brother George how do you do I am pretty well how do you do Bully & i am bully how have you been for the pas three months George o pretty well I am glad to hear that you are all so well and all so hapy to sea you & Jesse so willing to write to me and also to think you wish to have me write to you in person i hope you will allways be so because if so you will soon learn to do / business for your selfe you say you are at school i hope you will improove every moment of your time. get as good an education as you can and then do all you can your selfe to help you along you are now old enough to read well and you can write very well you had ought to be where i have been for 2 years past then you would sea the want of a good education I have sean hundreds of men that could neather read nor write what a dreadful thing cannot write to their Father or Mother and many of them have Wives & Children cannot write to them. as it is late i will close hoping you will write to me often I remain your loveing Brother.
