Dear friend I recd yours of the fourth on the fifth I was pleased to learn that you had made up your mind to stay at Stoneridge untill spring for I dont think you can do better "alls well" no [?] since you left I send enclosed a note for thirty dollars I have no other one that is drawing interest of the line you spoke of I would rather you would forward the money to Mr Fowler at Ellenville subject to my order & then I can get it any day I dont like to trust it in the mail where it is Mr Verrine can probably find you a safe check any day write & let me know what action you take yours very respectfully Bradley Divine
