Florence M. Davenport and Ernest W. Wickham to Nina Divine, 23 April 1911
27 Houston Ave

Dear Ant Nina
I was very glad to here from you I know you all take so much interest in Isabel & done so much for her. We will never be able to repay you all. I was up to the house this morning. Showed mother your letter. She said the Dr. said he could not / cure her bowel trouble but might help them a little. Mother dose not get any chance to talk with the doctor. I went up to see him this afternoon so I could let you know. I ask him if he thought we could get her in Sull. Co. He said possibley we might and it may lengthen her days. But the more she moves around the worse her bowel trouble would be. He as much as said that he did not think / she could last through July I do not think she is as bad as that. If we can get her in Sull. Co. where Frank can see to her it would be the best thing in the world for her as Frank understands her trouble better then anyone else. So if Isabel gets the least bit of strength so she can stand the trip we will bring her up to Loch Sheldrake. Mabel dose not feel very good mother is almost wore out.
How are all the people up there? Florence and I are feeling good. Florence said she thought you were comeing down this month. If Frank should go down to New York any time tell him to try & stop off & see Isabel. Come down when you can write soon
With love Florence & Ernest
P.S.
If there is any thing you want to write to mother that is not good for Isabel to see, send it here
