Dear Friend.
Yours of the 7th inst. was duly received. Under the circumstances attending our short acquaintance your letters are allways anxiously looked for and when received they are read again and again untill evry thought they contain is familiar to my mind. Your replys to my several enquiries so far have been all / that I could wish, and to some extent more than I anticipated. The request made in your last that I would "write again soon" was truly gratifying to me. Let me assure you that the request will ever be fondly cherished and willingly complied with.

I find it impossible for me to leave home this summer to be absent any length of time and consequently I shall have to defer my long anticipated journey untill a more favorable opportunity.

I hope however to have the pleasure of visiting you sometime next month. If nothing unforeseen prevents I shall leave home / for Milwaukee soon after the first of June and shall return by way of La Crosse. Please write so that a letter will reach me before I leave home.

There are a great many things of which I should like to write but as a good visit will afford an opportunity of becoming better acquainted and consequently more free and unreserved I will wait with patience untill that good time shall come.

Ever wishing to be remembered in your prayers and to enjoy a place in your affections

I remain
Most Sincerely Yours
Geo. Haw
