Mar 16th 1859
My dear Sister
As I have no lessones to say to day I will write you. I have just come in from a ride to Cousin Serenas she gave me some very pretty flowers. it is a beautiful day and very pleasant out. We have had very warm weather. I received letter from Brother some time ago. I was very much pleased to hear from him and will try and write to him soon but I have very little time now since I have been saying my lessones. Father sent to tell Sister that if he had time he would come out next month or the first of May. I hope he will come, for I think the trip would do Father good. We all will be so glad to see him. the baby is quite well Sister dress her in one of her fine dresses today and sent her to see Mrs Haile / I wish you could see her she has grown so much. Sister sends her love to you and say I must tell you she got your message by Mr Haile and would have written to you to day but she did not have any thing to tell you. She says you must not worry about your writeing for Cousin Tom never sees your letters
I am very sorry to hear about James. Grace has been quite sick but is better. Do excuse this bad writeing and all
write soon
with love to you I remain
your affec Sister Flora
