I like my place first rate and shall stay all winter and maybe 25 or 30 years longer I am getting 12 dollars per month this winter and have the promise of one dollar per day next summer. I am going to Mecca the oil region next wednesday to work at running an / engine. My employer has opened 2 splendid wells which we think will yield about 10 bbs per day, and the hands are drilling 2 more. I have seen specimens of the oil and it is a splendid thing. I was sorry to hear that mother & Sis had to foot it home from Portage and glad you found Pa well.
