I take this my first opportunity to let you know that I am well when I have more time I will give you a brief detail of our campaign through Georgia So Carolina and North Carolina. we are four miles from Goldsboro on the Rail Road we have had a good deal of fighting the 20th Conn lost two the 15th 19 the 16th and 33 the 19th total 54 killed and wounded my health has been verry good on this campaign no more at present remember me to enquiring friends
