Wm R Leavitt was taken sick with a fever last Tuesday evening. he is not as well today as he was yesterday and day before, though he will probably get over it.

Wm J Morrison is getting better, he left the hospital today. John M Head is getting better also. Jere. Weeks ditto

In my letter to Robert Carter I omitted to mention the name of Mrs Harris. I was in a hurry when I wrote the letter and never thought of the omission till the letter was in the post office.

Of course the boys are greatly obliged to her, and send her their respects, and will hold her in grateful remembrance

I wish you would invest this money as you have the rest, unless the money is below par in which case you may buy U.S. six pr ct bonds with it.

Tell Chs Grant if hears of any one that is going to send a box, he can put in a dollars worth of tobacco (Strange Brand) into it and you can pay him out of my money for it. Valentines Day

Respects to all
John W Clement
