John W. Clement to John Clement, 8 July 1862
Hilton Head July 8th /62
As Mr Watson is going to send a box home I tho't I would send a few things that I don't need—The reason I send this Testament is that I have another which is less likely to get spoilt.
J. W. Clement
To Mr John Clement
Exeter N.H.
John Head & Woodberry Berry are at Beaufort. John's feet have not got well yet, and some think Berry is in consumption. The Captain went up there last night and has not got back yet. J.W.C.
