Mary Sullivan (maiden name unknown) was born around 1816 in Ireland. She married Daniel Sullivan, and they had at least seven children: Mary, born around 1842; Michael, born around 1843; John, born around 1847; Catherine, born around 1850; Daniel, born around 1853; Ellen, born around 1856; and W., born around 1857. They eventually immigrated to America and settled in New York. They moved to Canada in the early 1840s before moving to Ohio, Illinois, and finally Iowa. By 1860, they were living in Brandon, Iowa. Her husband worked as a farmer, and they owned $1,200 of real estate and $200 of personal property. Her husband died during the winter of 1889-90, and she died sometime after February 1890.
