?1-       Rails Can we award claims for Rails, or must they
            be computed at cord wood?    They will be computed as cord wood
 
?2-       Land Damage: Can we award damages for land, that has been (or may be) injured     by reason of the burning of the fences & like claims for damages?   No
 
                                    give only government price for stock
?3-       Get price list for ^ horses, mules, forage &c.
 
 4-        Are we to proceed and investigate all claims brought before us, or only to         investigate the a/c's of undoubted loyal men, thinning out any which may prove       on examination to be disloyal?            Only the claim of loyal citizens
 
 5-        Where a claimant has been an Officer (civil or military) of the C.S.A. & has never     taken the oath of amnesty or allegiance, should his a/c be investigated, even tho'        he had never taken the oath? Quote Thomas Knox's case & parallel cases of         county officers &c       his claim should be thrown out
 
 6-        Can a man be a witness in his own a/c in the absence of vouchers or witnesses?
                        He may be called by the Court
 
 7-        Memo receipts given to claimants by officers taking goods: Go in record or not,          as part evidence?        In record as part evidence
 
 8-        Member of the Board relieved when he brings a claim before it? Must be
                        Yes. Board can proceed with a quorum / be relieved
