As orders have come from Genl Grant to cut the L[?] at this point which will necessarily flood the country between McArthurs Hd Qrs and the Run making it excessively difficult to embark our forces when the boats arrive I think it advisable to move your Division immediately to some point north of the turn which will not be overflowed. Select some point near the Run.
