Dear Sister
Yours was received last week should have answered sooner but couldent have posted it until tomorrow any way
We are all quite well, I have been having troublesome times lately with the teeth ache grave symptoms I suppose you'll think but let not your heart be troubled because there is nothing more serious it is one of my front teeth and I dont like to have it pulled on that account I am going to try and get it filled
The weather is pleasant Arthur is going to put in his small grain next week. Frank is off chopping cord wood quite a relief and very pleasant to be by ourselves once more
I was sorry to hear Mat was in such poor health it must be about all she can do to take care of her children what does she call her children I mean the baby
I was very glad to hear mother was getting along if it was slowly hope she wont try and go to work and get down again. has Hi heard any more from his pension did Mary say any thing about coming west what does she think of her fathers wife
I have been playing checkers with Arthur beat him once pretty good for me dont you think / plenty of buttercups are in blossom but this winter has been colder than last and we have had some very disagreeable weather but the pleasant has more than offset the bad I think
We have got a boat a big one come and you shall have a boat ride we have the prettiest little lake imaginable.
My little chicks this spring I had a hen hatch five are not a joy forever for the hogs ate them up.
I think I am getting to be considerable of an Oregonian that is if laziness is any sign I wash in two days take the rest of my work just as easy read and walk out in the sun for my health.
have had considerable company for a spell but I dont go much. Georgie is well and fat he is a great comfort to me hope he will / keep well. Arthur says tell Charlie the answer to his letter was acceptable but he would appreciate a letter
tell Ella I will write to her soon
I think I will close dont think you'll call this much of a letter but I am getting awful sleepy Arthur has been burning a coal pit had to watch it day and night and we have been broke of our rest a good deal guess you wont think this much of a letter it does seem as if my wit had all gone to my heels.
Love to all write soon to your loving sister Sara.
dont say anything when you write about that money we got a letter the other day and he said he was going to send some soon.
