My Dear
Mother I thought that I would write a few lines I dont know that I have wrote you a regular letter since I have benn in the Army but I have wrote to you in most every letter that I have wrote but I thought It would be more interesting to you to you a long one tell you how I am geting along in the Army I am now quite unwell / at present but I hope I shal son be Better I have bought a bottol of Sheryes pictorial and am a taking it for my cold and it is a helping me I am in hopes it will son cure me Mother I oftin think of the many hapy time that I have had at Home. I would have sent you soem money but I thought that pa needid it the most when I draw soem again I will send you soem wee will draw soem more in a bout to Months and I will then send you five or tenn Dollars Mother you must still pray for you Boy / and I will try and pray for my self I am trying to to do as nig wright as I can I think of home the most when I am on guard in the stillnes of the night give my best recpectes to the girls
