Dear George,
I don't know if this will reach you in time for your birthday or not, as we are in an out of the way place. I ought to have sent it sooner, but I thought we would be able to speak the steamers up & down, but it seems doubtful now if we will.
I was going to put / this in a box & send to Mama, but I thought you would rather have a letter all to yourself.
I hope they will reach you safe and find you well.
I don't know how long we will remain here. As it is so much cooler here than any where else we are likely to go to I don't care how long we remain.
A little steamer from Acapulco will bring us our mail, & perhaps we may be able to send one by her.
I hope you will have a pleasant time on your birthday, and that / I shall be with you when the next one comes.
I suppose you are having good cold weather in Worcester. wish we had some of your good cold water & you had a little of this sunshine.
Remember me to Grandma, Uncle George & Aunt Anna, & everybody else.
Much love for you,
Alice, Mama, &
Frank.
Good bye,
Papa.

will try & get some beans in Acapulco & polish them as we go north, if we go.
