Feby 13 1884

Dear George,
I am glad to hear you are getting better, sorry you got sick after I left you, hope you won't do it again.

I hope you have better weather in Allston than we have here just now, it is so foggy we can hardly see across the street. And with the rain & slush it is mud everywhere. You will not be able to go to school for some time, but never mind that so you can get well, you will / soon catch up with the other boys when you go to school again.

Tell Alice & Frank, and Mabel & Josie to look out & not get sick this horrid weather.

When you feel all right again you must write me a few lines, tell me how many Valentines Alice & Frank get.

I wish I was in Allston instead of Brooklyn, so I could see you all.

Remember me to Aunt Anna when she comes tomorrow & to Grandma, tell them I shall try and stop over one train when I / come back, & see then in Worcester.

I hope Mama is getting rested, & that you will all keep well. I will write Mama tomorrow, if nothing happens.

Tell her I saw Charlie Corbett last evening. His wife was sick abed with muscular rheumatism, has been quite sick, but was then better. He sent best wishes for all.

It is raining again & looks as tho' it would rain for a week.

Much love for Mama & all of you. Keep well until I come.

Good bye, from           Papa.
