My Dear Grandson
                                    I am reminded by the day of the month that friday will be your birth day I hope it will be a happy day to you that your health will be improved and that you will take good care of yourself.
 
            I can hardly realize that you are so old 14 years old seven years more aded to your precious life you will cast you vote for President how will that mak you feel.
 
            I hope it did not pove to much for you the parade you took last week, I should liked to have seen it myself you must have felt tired. 
 
it is a lovly morning the sun is shining bright the windows open Aunt Ellen is siting in my room sewing we enjoy her visit ever so much shall be sorry when they leave. I wish that I could tell you somthing about your young friends in W but I dont know any thing to tell. I wish that I could see you all does that lovly George keep well. give my love to all take a good share to yourself.
 
            I want you to tak good care of Mama I am afraid she does feel first tell Alice I should be glad to hear from her good by from Grandmother.
