George P. Hunt to Alice M. Hunt, 10 May 1882
Ranger,
Mazatlan,
May 10 - 1882.

Dear Alice,
I send two pictures for Mama's birthday present, hope they will arrive safe, inside there is a sketch of Manzanillo, Ranger, &c, I thought would interest you all & altogether will pass for this year. I did not mention this before, for I was at a loss to know what to do with them, concluded at last to run the risk.

Tell Mama I received a slip from Mrs Z.— from the NY Times, I hope she will mail all my letters enclosed to her. /

About the things you spoke of in your letter I will send on some money next mail, & when you get a trunk, buy it at the same place I got mine.

We go to La Paz from here then to Altata again, back here 4th June, then if nothing happens we leave here for up the coast en route to San Francisco.

My letters are all in & this is the last. I hope you are all well. Tell Mama & send much love & many happy returns, when / the day arrives, wish I could send something more than the pictures.

Mail bag is called. I have one or two more pictures if you want to give Miss Buck something.

Goodbye Lots of love to all.

Tell Frank I will try & get some shells in La Paz for his birthday & he must call it his b— present when / he gets it.

Love to Aunt Ellen, Grandma, Maude, & everybody

Good bye
Papa
