Farmington, H.C. at the Residence of
Monday Eve, April 21, 1862.
One year from to night I will make a promice to one that I love. there will be g changes in the year that will decide our fates perhaps that we little know off now but whatever comes of this night in one year is to be remembered above all others where ever we are we will exchange words by letter if we can not talk with each other. at that time we may be many miles apart, in the course of the year. if so when we meet let us meet [blotted]
