Dear Brother it is with pleasure that I seat miself this morning to let you no that I am well at presant and hoping these few lines may find you all enjoying the same blesing well know Dallas i must tell you a little a bout the times here times ar very brisk here all the time be cause there is so menny solders here plenty of company all the time but the duce of it there is no gals here but plenty of boys but I / expect there is plenty of gals back there and not menny boys that is the diference well i must tell you a little a bout the weather it has been very wet here for some time and it is raning know and no hopes of it quitting soon the mud is plenty here and has been for the last month and is raning most every day and i dont think the mud will dry up soon I dont think there will be much fightting done here on till spring for the roads has been so bad that it is most impossible to get a round at tall but i think a gainst spring there will be some big fightting done and i expect we will halve a share of it as well as the rest but we will give them the best we halve got in the shop that is all enny boddy can do we hant got that box / yet but we expect to get it this evning the waggon went to town to day and they intend to bring it up if they can find it and then we will halve a big time of eating the good things that is in it if we get it i will let you all no it if we dont get it i will let you no it eny how but if we dont get it it will make us puty mad well i ges i halve told you all i halve to tell you for this time but there is one thing yet i must ask you how flory temple is getting a long and tell me if flory is getting nice you must take good care of her and keep her slick our horses hast to stand out in the storm all the time and they look puty well nothing more at presant but still remain you efectionate Brother
