Dear brother it is with pleasure that I seat mi self this morning to write you a few lines to let you no that I got through safe to the hospital once more and I feel very well and I hope these few lines will find you all the same I have got a very nice room to stay in there is five others in with me and we will halve a good time I think there aint a great menny in the hospital at the presant time but they expect some soon general Mc clelland has the command of the army of the potomac once more and I am mity glad of it I / suppose it wont fit some of them old shits back there but it soots me first strate I cant tell you enything hardly for i only got here yesterday morning and I hant seen eny thing now yet I cant tell how soon I will get to the Company but I expect to go as soon as I can get there but I dont no when that will be when I came to harrisburgh i mist the train and i had to stay there all day that was a good joke on the carrs i think dont you think well i gess i halve told you all i halve to say this time you must excuse mi short letter and write soon and tell me all the news mi love to you all G.B., J.
