Dear brother it is with pleasure that I seat mi self this morning to write you a few lines to let you no how I am getting a long I am getting a long prety well know but i halve been very sick since I last wrote to you but am a great deal better know I feel middling weak yet but I think I will get a long buly know tell pap that I was nearer ded here than I was at falmouth last year but I halve got so I can run a round a gain but for the run a round well Jack i spose you folks / are making prepperations to plant corn back there I wish I was there I think I cold jurk a place a round puty rough I would like to be back there a bout the time the red horse gets on the riffle I think I cold hook a bout a dozen more or less but I gess it would be less the weather has been very nice here for the last few days it puts me in mind of spring I thought I would a been to the company before this time and I would a been if I had not got sick but I cant tell when I will get there know but it will be some time yet be fore I get there
well Jack you need not look for a long letter this time for I dont feel much lik writing but I want you to write me a good long letter and tell me all the news and write soon and dont for get I will close by sending you all mi well wishes
