Dear Sister
I seat my self this morning to answer your kind letter wich I re cieved the other day and was very glad to heare from you and to heare of you all being better of the measles you must of had a big time all being sick at of one time
Well Liz I hardly no what to write as there is nothing of eny portance a going on heare at presant ony that we had orders marching orders day be fore yesterday that is we had orders to be ready to march at a moments notice we was all ready packed up and horses harnest up ready to move / but in the evning the orders was contermanded and we hant gone yet but I dont think we will lay in camp long for it is coming the time of year that we generaly move in these parts I think we will move soon and halve some hard fighting to do but if we haft to do it we can but I would rather be excused at presant
you was saying in your letter that you was at a party at Coltons I wish I had been there I will bet I would a puld some of the gals a round that is if they would let me and if they would not let me that would be a pul back how are you pull back I am a feard this will be a short letter for I am writing in a hury for this is Sunday and we will halve inspection and I / want to get done be for I haft to go out to show my self with my blues on I tell you we look gay when we get dressed up with our best on buly for the best on
well I gess I have told you all I halve got to say for this time the health in the company is prety good at presant as for my one it is as good as ususal cant complain for fear of worse Liz when you write a gain please tell me how flory looks tell me wether she looks gay or not I expect to be home be fore many months and I want her looken prety gay I will close by my well wishes to you all nothing more at presant but remain your affectionate
